Devops Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a mid-career DevOps Specialist to design, build, and operate reliable infrastructure supporting AI, IoT and machine-learning workloads. This role focuses on AWS-centric cloud environments with integration to on-premises deployments used for edge, regulated, or latency-sensitive systems. The position works closely with AI engineers, data scientists, and platform teams to enable secure, scalable, and reproducible ML development and production operations.

Roles and Responsibilities:  

  • Infrastructure Management: Design, build, and maintain scalable and robust infrastructure using cloud services such as AWS, and GCP.
  • Design and maintain a robust deployment and update process for air-gapped on-premise solutions
  • Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software development lifecycle.
  • Automation: Develop automation scripts and tools to improve efficiency and reliability of deployment processes.
  • Monitoring and Logging: Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system health and performance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to identify and resolve bottlenecks, bugs, and inefficiencies.
  • Security: Ensure the security and compliance of infrastructure and processes, adhering to industry standards such as ISO 27001 and SOC2.
  • Incident Management: Lead incident response efforts, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementing preventative measures.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for infrastructure, processes, and procedures

Qualifications

  • Education

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related ϐield. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
  • Requirements

    • 5+ years of experience in DevOps.
    • 3+ years with experience AWS, Azure, or GCP.
    • 3+ years infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
    • Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
    • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
    • Experience with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki or ELK, Open Telemetry).
    • Experience with secrets management and security controls (Vault, KMS, IAM, RBAC).
    • Experience delivering software into restricted or air-gapped environments with repeatable processes.
    • Strong understanding of Linux and Windows system administration.
    • Knowledge of networking fundamentals VPNs, routing, DNS, load balancing, and TLS, cloud security, and performance tuning.
    • Experience with GitOps tooling and Helm based packaging and releases
    • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
    • Knowledge of compliance standards such as ISO 27001 & SOC 2.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Certifications

  • Relevant certiϐications (e.g., AWS Certiϐied DevOps Specialist, Certiϐied Kubernetes Administrator) are a plus
