Program Manager

Job Description

Reporting to the CTO, we are seeking a senior project manager to drive our program of development and deployment of our IoT, AI, and simulation products. This role is central to pushing our platform from strong early capabilities into a robust, scalable product used in operational production. This is a cross functional and customer facing role where success is measured by working systems in production.

Duties and responsibilities include

• Define our program including customer deployments, platform development and feature development.
• Assist teams to define project scopes, deliverables, and success criteria aligned with business goals.
• Balance between competing deliverables to ensure schedules are met.
• Lead sprint planning, scrums, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Oversee team workflows and progress using tools such as Asana, Jira and Confluence.
• Facilitate smooth collaboration between engineering, product management, deployment
  and R&D.
• Monitor and define metrics for development and implementation efficiency and
  effectiveness.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
• Report on project status, team performance, and improvement areas to senior
  management.
• Partner with the CTO to ensure architecture, system administration and security
  requirements are met.
• Contribute to recruitment, strategic planning and management of remote teams and suppliers, including asynchronous communication.

What we are looking for

• Core Requirements

  •  3+ years of experience leading software development teams in an agile scrum environment
  • 3+ years in cross-functional program management
  • 3+ years of hands-on development or devops or service delivery
  • A self-starter with a radical focus on the customer the ability to act on your own initiative.
  • Experience working with domain experts and product managers to improve problem definitions, metric selection, and feature selection.
  • Experience working with a globally distributed team in diƯerent time zones.
  • Strong written and presentation skills.

• Secondary Requirements

  • 2+ Years IoT and/or AI development
  • 2+ Years AWS cloud and/or Docker
  • 2+ Years Python
  • PMP, PgMP or PMI certificate
  • Experience using AI for industrial process control
  • SOC2 and ISO27001

Education Requirements

• BS or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Systems Engineering or technical equivalent.
