Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and driven Project Manager to lead the execution of engineering and Software and AI initiatives within the water and wastewater industry. 
This role involves managing end-to-end project delivery — from planning to implementation — ensuring alignment with business objectives, technical standards, and customer expectations. 
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in Software and AI contributing to the success of sustainable and innovative water treatment projects. 

Roles and Responsibilities:  

  1. Project Planning & Execution 
    • Lead and coordinate the planning, execution, and completion of projects in the water and wastewater domain.

    • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in consultation with management and stakeholders.

    • Develop and manage detailed project plans, budgets, and timelines.

    • Managing projects in an hybrid environment which utilizes Agile and Waterfall

    • Oversee day-to-day project progress, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.

    • Conduct project reviews, prepare reports, and provide regular updates to leadership and clients.

  2. Cross-Functional & Product Collaboration
    • Collaborate with engineering, product, and data teams to align project goals with business and technical strategies.

    • Support digital transformation initiatives — including data-driven optimization, automation, and process digitalization in water treatment.

    • Manage communication between internal stakeholders, contractors, and customers to ensure smooth coordination.

    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization within ongoing projects.

  3. Operations & Compliance
    • Support vendor management, procurement, and contract administration activities.

    • Ensure compliance with EHS standards, regulatory frameworks, and company operating procedures.

    • Promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement within the project team.

Qualifications & Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Software Engineering, Process, Chemical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management or equivalent technical discipline.

  • 5–10 years of experience in project management within the water, wastewater, or industrial utility sectors.

  • Strong understanding of water treatment systems, plant design, and commissioning processes.

  • Experience managing both engineering and digital (software/IoT) projects preferred.

  • Skilled in project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or MS Project.

  • PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is an advantage.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, budgets, and deliverables effectively.
