Sr. Software Developer, Frontend
Job Description
Turing is a remote, globally distributed tight knit team with an emphasis on collaboration, support and entrepreneurship. Our team focuses on developing and applying leading edge solutions to a myriad of water treatment related applications. Some examples include, applying reinforcement learning for process control and optimization of reverse osmosis water treatment systems, regressions for predictive maintenance of ϐilter elements, and condition monitoring for early failure detection in water treatment systems. Our front-end must be designed to modern standards and with AI interactions in mind.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Designing, prototyping and developing user interfaces with high quality graphic standards and brand consistency
- Collaborating with back-end developers, data scientists and other team members to design to design new UXs to enhance the user experience
- Ensuring new UXs are deployed successfully to CI/CD pipelines on a set schedule
- Assisting the collection and documentation of user requirements, development of user stories and estimates working with product management
- Participating in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code
- Working with teammates to dive eƯiciencies to development procedures
- Analyzing and resolving technical problems
- Defining front-end development standard
- Setting UX technology strategy
- Coordinating a team of 3 junior developers
- Representing front-end projects to management

Core Requirements
- 6-9 years demonstrated skills with React and Next.js
- Experience with automated browser testing and debugging
- Experience with styling frameworks including MUI and Tailwind
- Understanding of layout aesthetics
- Experience using React query for data fetching and caching
- Hands-on experience with WebSocket connections and chart libraries such as Highcharts, Chart.js, D3.js, or similar
- Strong communication skills, including writing and listening
- An ability to embrace new challenges and learn continuously
- BS in Computer Science or a related discipline
Secondary Requirements
- Experience with Omniverse and Universal Screen Description a plus
- Experience developing UX for AI user interactive tools
- 1+ years in Django framework environment
